St. Caillin’s NS is a mainstream, co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Catholic bishop of Ardagh and Clonmacnois. It is located in Rashina, a rural community outside Ferbane, Co. Offaly. There are 72 pupils attending Rashina National. There are three mainstream classes, Learning Support and Resource. The staffing arrangements are as follows:
Principal & Support Teacher: 
Junior, Senior Infants, 1st: Ms. Avril Bryan
2nd & 3rd: Ms. Muireann Guinan & Ms Claire Grehan
4th, 5th & 6th: Ms. Kellie-Ann Moran
Support Teacher: Ms. Christina Phelan ( Ms Niamh Mollen)

Our school which proudly boasts a new extension since 2008 has excellent facilities such as three spacious classrooms with bathroom facilities, a large multi-purpose halla, a Resource and Learning Support room. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard and ICT facilities which gives the teacher an excellent resource to aid in the children’s education. Resource and Learning Support avail of an I-pad which have access to an unquantifiable amount of excellent educational apps. These excellent facilities extend outside the school also with our AstroTurf pitch opened in 2013, a large basketball court and a school garden.
